Rebecca Proctor is a ceramicist based in North Cornwall. Her work adopts a soft muted palette that reminds us of pale rocks found on the shoreline. The fact that she uses locally sourced clay adds to that sense of place in her pottery. Subtle facets or speckled glazing makes Rebecca's work intriguing and ever satisfying to use.
The soft white of these mugs really does give them light textured quality. Matte across the surface, they could also resemble polished seashore pebbles. Truly beautiful, you will want to use yours everyday just for the pleasure of it. Plus, Rebeccas mugs are always a really good size for a proper cuppa.
