Claire Kinsella uses locally foraged willow along with her own grown crops to create her utterly wonderful baskets. Traditional in every way yet there seems to prevail a modern look to her work. Curved edges meet straight lines, the rustic material is weaved into contemporary forms. Claire has a skill that comes naturally to her, from the basketry process itself right through to her keen eye for spotting hedgerow gems to incorporate into each piece.

These Small Willow Trivets are utterly beautiful. Pure craftsmanship, sculptural simplicity, strong & functional. They look fantastic hung up on a wall, used on occasions for hot pots to be placed directly on the dining table. We really love these Trivets. The trivets are unique can can vary ever so slightly in terms of the tone of the willows, the images are a good example of what we have available.
