Midgley Green is a retailer for homeware goods crafted by makers. We trade from our Clevedon shop and online at www.midgleygreen.com where we reserve all rights and copyrights for its content.
We aim to dispatch your goods within 48 hours of receiving payment. Please allow 5-7 working days for your order to arrive once dispatched, we always hope it gets to you sooner. Contact us immediately if your order does not arrive within the stated time period.
We charge £3 for UK Postage & Packaging on any orders no matter what the size of your parcel is. We always use a certified Courier or the Royal Mail who we trust to delivery your product[s] safely and securely. Orders of £100 may require a signature upon delivery, this is for safety and security reasons so your parcel ends up exactly where it needs to be.
Once posted and in transit to you, we can not unfortunately take full responsibility for your purchased good. It is the couriers responsibility to deliver your order safely and on time. We try are upmost to resolve any issues straight away. Every order has a tracking number that we pay close attention to throughout the journey of your parcel. All orders are insured up to £20 in the UK, if you would like further cover then please get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss insurance costs.
For INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING we are very happy to calculate postage costs for you. Please email email@example.com with the item details and postal address. We can not take responsibility for Custom Fee charges if applicable, please research if these charges apply to your Country before placing your order as it is your responsibility to pay them.
Our packaging is recycled where possible. Your order may not arrive in the prettiest wrapping but will be safe, secure and as environmentally friendly as possible. We do use bubblewrap, however our packing peanuts are 100% bio-degradable, our cardboard is recyclable and we use paper tape where possible.
We know that sometimes there can be a rush to receive online goods. If you are in a hurry to get your products then just give us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org before placing your order, we will speed things up as best we can.
Saturday and Sundays are not classed as working days by our couriers.
At peak times such as Christmas, deliveries can take up to 9 working days.
*CHRISTMAS* Final guaranteed date for orders to arrive by Christmas will be 15th December. Orders placed after this date, although we will do our best to send swiftly, will not be guaranteed arrival for Christmas.

We hope that you will fall in love with our products as much as we have and will find no reason to return them. However, if you are not entirely satisfied with your products then we will accept returns within 7 working days upon receiving your items. We ask that you email us at firstname.lastname@example.org immediately if you do feel you’d like to send your order back. For any refunds we expect products to be returned unused, undamaged and in original packaging. After the 7 working day period post receiving your item, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or exchange.
We can not refund any products purchased for photoshoots or interior styling. If you’ve purchased products for this reason we will not offer a refund or exchange unless the item arrives damaged.
Postage Costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund it will have the postage costs deducted.
In the unlikely event that you receive broken or damaged goods, we require you the customer to photograph the damage and send us an email straight away, within 2 days of receipt of goods, to email@example.com. We hope this is never the case but we will do everything we can to rectify the issue with a full refund or exchange.
We, unfortunately, cannot cover return postage costs. Please note that the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us so please package goods as safely as possible and ask for proof of postage from your post office.
We would love for you to join our Mailing List, it's a place to find out what we've been up to, whats new to Midgley Green and any promotions that may be available. Emails are sent out very occasionally, up to 4 times a year so don't worry about us bombarding you. Your email address is not shared with any third parties, it is purely used for us to contact you with occasion news. You can always unsubscribe from our Mailing List if you wish to by clicking on the 'Unsubscribe' link at the bottom of any Midgley Green emails. Join our Mailing List to be entered into our monthly subscriber Giveaways. We randomly select one email subscriber per prize. The Giveaway can only be won by recipients living in the UK. Winners will be emailed swiftly after the draw has taken place. If we do not hear back from you within one week of the winning notification email, the Giveaway is cancelled and the winner will not be able to claim the prize. We reserve the right not to run a Giveaway. We reserve the right to cancel Giveaways at any time.
By agreeing to our Terms and Conditions you the customer are confirming that you are 18 years old or over, otherwise you will have permission from your parents. All products remain the property of Midgley Green until payment is received for both product and postage. The price applicable is that set at the date on which you place your order.
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard & American Express) through Stripe, a secure payment system. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of certification. All payments are extremely secure through Stripe. We do not store any sensitive payment information.
We price our products fairly and work hard to supply the highest quality goods at the best price possible, we do however reserve the right to change pricing at anytime without notice.
In the unlikely event that you the customer have purchased a product that is sold out, Midgley Green has the right to refund you or suggest an exchange. We sell small batch products that are made in limited runs. This means that we may sell out of products and have to wait up to 6 weeks for them to return to the shop however we endeavor to have a constant supply of independently made goods.
We only sell products that we believe to be the highest quality with all of our stock being made by independent makers or small businesses. Due to this there is often slight quirks of difference in each product, whether the grain of wood varies from piece to piece or the shade of each sheepskin differs in colouration. These quirks are what makes our business special and we value the differences found in the process of making.
We photograph our products to show them off in their best possible natural light and always try our best to give a true representation of the piece itself. It is possible that colours may vary ever so slightly to the ones you see on your screen. We also try to give the most accurate measurements possible for each product but please be aware these may vary a touch as each item is unique.
We only stock £50 Vouchers, however these can be purchased in multiple increments of £50 if you wish. For example, you can purchase £150 worth of Vouchers and we will create a code that equates to the sum of the value purchased. Vouchers come with a unique code which can be redeemed with one transaction only. The Vouchers are valid for 6 months only from the date of purchase. Any Vouchers attempted to be used more than once or on two separate orders will be deemed invalid. Each code is unique to one Voucher and can only be used once. Unfortunately we can not refund Vouchers. If the recipient of the Voucher changes please email us with details; name and email address (if possible).

We welcome enquiries from Media and Magazines for product shots. We are happy to send product shots for magazine coverage. We no longer offer our products for photoshoots, if you wish to use products from Midgley Green they will need to be purchased from our shop or online store. If you are a stylists purchasing products for photoshoots, please do get in touch to let us know. We can not refund any products purchased for photoshoots or interior styling.
If in the rare occurrence that we do offer our products for a photoshoot, we can cover postage costs to the recipient. However we can not cover return costs and will expect full payment without delay of any breakages during the photoshoot or on the return journey back to Midgley Green.
