Forge Creative are a young design studio based in West Sussex. Their playful approach to making has led them to create some of the most exciting designs that we have come across. The ease in which they marry together a range of natural materials, from wood, copper and glass, makes each product feel packed full of life. Josh & Oli’s love of making couldn’t come across any more in the beautiful work that they produce.

This Charred Oak & Copper Coffee Tamper is a stunning example of design meeting function. It goes without saying that this is for the coffee lovers but it is just as appealing to the sticklers for function. The Copper base not only acts as a beautiful object, its weight helps to create a smooth even finish to the tamped coffee; arguably one of the most important challenges in getting a perfect espresso. The charred Oak handle is shaped in such a way that it feels effortless to apply pressure when tamping. For any barista making multiple coffees the form of the handle also gives you ease in getting consistency wherever your hand feels comfortable on the object. Aside from all of this, Forge Creative have made a blooming beautiful thing that could turn any tea drinker to the dark side.
