Claire Kinsella uses locally foraged willow along with her own grown crops to create her utterly wonderful baskets. Traditional in every way yet there seems to prevail a modern look to her work. Curved edges meet straight lines, the rustic material is weaved into contemporary forms. Claire has a skill that comes naturally to her, from the basketry process itself right through to her keen eye for spotting hedgerow gems to incorporate into each piece.

A beautiful little Outre Rhin, a lovely practical basket I think, I have one and have taken it out to dinner… or even used it to harvest salad from my allotment.
