Found in the winding country lanes that run along side the Fal Estuary in Cornwall you will find Head & Haft in a rural workshop. A multi disciplinary product studio, started a couple of years ago from a farm yard space. Their process of making drew us in immediately; they adopted a simple ethos to use English woods to make beautiful objects. 

This Large Chestnut Bowl has been turned from a fallen tree that once stood in Cornwall. They told us how difficult it can be to come across timber like this that can be turned in such a shallow depth. We’re glad they got their hands on it as we're in love with the torn edge and natural features found in the Chestnut. Head & Haft's appreciation and understanding for the materials they use is handsomely displayed in each bowl they produce.
