This Oak & Brass Pencil Box has been designed and made by Catriona Thomas in Wiltshire. Along with it's Walnut splined mitre joints, we love every detail in this piece from the British Oak grain through to the burnished Brass. Catriona shares our passion for contemporary design but we also found common ground in our admiration for the nostalgic.

Pencil Boxes are objects that many of us might find forgotten about in the back of our parents sheds. We asked Catriona to make a contemporary piece that would have relevance in a world of smart phones and tablet computers. This box wants to be used, over and over, for years and years. Catriona has made a beautiful box that will function in tune with many of today's uses.
