This bowl, with a satisfying moss green interior and diamond polished porcelain exterior, is an exclusive piece for Midgley Green made by Elisabeth Barry. We asked Elisabeth to create a range that is larger and more challenging in comparison to her smaller works which are created in her studio based outside of Bath. 

We fell in love with Elisabeth’s work at first sight; the polished porcelain that runs throughout her practice is truly beautiful. The finish is so soft and smooth you want to keep touching it, which is exactly what Elisabeth wants. She wants her work to be held, touched and most importantly, used.

We haven't come across many makers that pay as much attention to the bottom of their pieces as they do to the rest of the work. The foot ring underside of this bowl is testament to Elisabeth's attention to detail and continued playfulness right down to the hidden parts of each piece. No need for a makers mark here, the distinctive design tells you everything you need to know about Elisabeth Barry.
