Jacob Bodilly is a character that could not be replaced. His utter devotion to ceramics has lead him from running a studio in the deepest depths of Cornwall on to his new place in the rolling hills of Somerset. Jacob lives and breaths the making process, often overly critical of any work that doesn't meet his exacting standards when it is pulled from the kiln. Every detail is important in his pottery, from the lip of a piece to it's bottom. 

These Tenmoku Jugs have one of the nicest glazes we've seen. It is rich and luscious with a depth that we adore. Tenmoku glazes can vary from black through to brown but Jacob has managed to find the deepest of blacks for these Jugs. They are big country style pieces yet they would look just as at home in a contemporary environment. Ready to be filled with plenty of your favourite tipple.
